Founded in 2002, we became the first hosting company to commercially offer a 4 way fail over support and combine open load balancing and virtual server technology to enable our clients to achieve high levels of server availability and performance for their mission critical web services, at a price point that had been previously impossible. The continued improvements and experience with our clustering products have resulted in a variety of competitors coming to us for network/server management.

In late 2003, we opened our second hosting farm at the NYC Connect datacenter in New York City. Along with this new facility, we broke ground with a private tier-2 regional backbone, redundantly connecting both of our hosting farms together over high-speed leased lines much more reliable than the public Internet. This private network further solidifies the reliability and performance advantage that our hosting platform has to offer.

In December 2005, our brand new state of the art datacenter was completed in Weehawken, NJ. Our carrier grade facility boasts more than 200 tons of cooling capacity, biometric security checkpoints at all entrances, 24/7 armed security, 24/7 onsite network operations, 12,000 square feet of raised floor, and multiple megawatts of redundant power (with onsite generator and fuel storage, and ups battery backup). The new datacenter will have approximately 60 Gigabits of redundant internet capacity, over multiple dark fiber paths, with the same quality of service our customers have come to expect. Our network is also fitted with support up to 10gigE, making us one in a handful of companies in the world to offer such network scalability.

In November 2006, with the launch of our new website, we launched our new Ever-Ready Dedicated Server product offerings in our Dell Powered, Houston, Texas facility.

Dataracks continues to work hard at improving all of our hosting products. We have quite a bit in the works at the moment and we have recently begun an intensive research & development campaign to further revitalize our Shared Hosting, Managed Dedicated Server, and Load Balanced Server offerings in addition to future managed co-location services to truly take managed web hosting to another level, while staying true to our price point advantage.
